Outstanding figural folk art tobacco pipe. Hand carved wood whiskered man wearing a top hat and coat with an unusual third leg protruding from his rear. The extra leg acts as a stand for the pipe. Likely it has some political or social connotation. Possibly original painted bamboo pipe stem. Wonderful details and character to this little fellow. A fantastic primitive country piece of folk art. Old untouched surface. One of the best pipes I have ever owned. Don’t get smoked out on this one!
