Superb folk art sign for Evalyn L. Herrington’s Music Studio. Beveled pine board. The sign was painted over an earlier sign, most likely Miss Herrington’s predecessor. “MUSIC” and “STUDIO” are over the same words from the first sign, but there is a different name under the current one. The colors are nice and mellow with faint traces of gold to the rim. Excellent craquelure to the paint. A really cool piece.
