Fantastic motorcycle club relic. Top of a metal suitcase or trunk. Hand painted, “CALIF/ RIDEING/ CLUB/ SAN PEDRO.” Red and yellow on a black ground. Notice the mis-spelling of “riding.”  Based on the numerous dents, this piece has literally hit the road a number of times. Likely, once strapped to the back of a motorcycle. An incredible folk art survivor from the early days of California motorcycle clubbing. Ready to hang on the wall – a superb display piece.
