Unique hand painted primitive folk art 2-sided heavy metal hanging advertising sign. “PHONE 22” on both sides. Three dimensional red and peach letters and numbers on a white ground. Home made metal pipe frame. Original hanger hooks. Fantastic old weathered surface. Heavy piece weighs over 15lbs. Discovered in Eastern Oklahoma. Two digit phone numbers tend to date from the early years of the 20th century, and this country sign surely is from this period. Great eye appeal.
