Solid cast iron figural doorstop. Great original painted surface. Described as “Little Southern Belle” in Jeanne Bertoia’s, Doorstops (1988 edition, p.27). Described as “Woman in shawl with flowers” Douglass Congdon-Martin’s, Figurative Cast Iron (1994 edition, p. 104) with a listed value of $300-$500. A heavy little doorstop that weighs nearly 4lbs.
