Fantastic lithographed tin sign with awesome graphics. Putnam Dyes “MADE ONLY BY MONROE DRUG CO. QUINCY, ILL.”  Marked by maker in lower left corner,  “CHAS. W. SHONK CO. LITHO. CHICAGO.” Printed on thin sheet tin. Great Revolutionary War design depicting General Isreal Putnam’s famous escape from a troop of English redcoats. A wonderful piece of patriotic Americana and advertising.

Condition:  Mounting holes around border. Typical light scratches, creasing, and corner wear. Colors are still vibrant.
