Sweet folk art sculpted dog lawn ornament. At some point in this pups life (about 1930’s), he was given a coat of paint and brought indoors to serve as a doorstop. The painted surface shows evidence of many years of service. Weighs over 7lbs. Cool piece. Discovered in Eastern Kansas at a farm sale.

Date: Early 1900’s. Painting done about 1930’s.

Size: 9″ tall. Base is 4″  x  5 1/2″.

Condition: Expected surface wear with a few unimportant base flakes.
