Excellent figural folk art comb. Carved and flattened horn. Nice stylized peacock design. Much of the original painted decoration remains. Fine old surface on this sweet country gem.
Date: 1820 – 1850.
Size: 6 1/2″ x 3″.
Condition: Expected appropriate use wear. A few minor blemishes and chips – see photos. A remarkable survivor regardless of condition.
