Whimsical mixed media primitive folk art snake. Discovered at a rural sale in western Georgia. Curved body is made with 65 silver painted bottle caps held together with a heavy twisted internal wire. Hand carved stylized head and rattle complete this simple yet bold piece of Americana. Likely created during the Depression.
