Interesting and quirky folk art stoneware gorilla head. Deeply incised hair . Great expressive face. Signed inside, “JEFF BOYER/ 5.” Purpose is unknown, but it would make a cool creepy lamp with a bulb inside. Also would work with a votive candle. Heavy piece weighs over 5lbs.

Condition: Large but stable separation split from firing in kiln. Otherwise fine.
