Great cast iron figural cottage with woman on steps doorstop. Marked on back, “EASTERN SPECIALTY MFG. CO./ 50.” This company operated from 1893 to 1930 at various locations. When they closed in 1930 (due to the Depression), they were located in Boston, MA. Excellent vibrant original painted surface. Heavy piece weighs over 5lbs.

 

Date: 1910’s-1920’s.

Condition: Typical minor paint loss and aging. Overall excellent.
