Rare cast iron figural beetle boot jack with advertising. Made by “OK ORNAMENTAL IRON/ BROOKHAVEN, MISS./ 834 – PH. – 718/ D.B. HARRIGILL.” Old gold over silver paint. These beetle boot jacks are often found, but rarely with advertising, and particularly from the South. The pair of 3-digit phone numbers indicate a fairly early date. A nice country advertising piece.
