Wonderful carved marble plaque with a child’s profile portrait. Slightly ovoid. Possibly made as a memorial. Heavy piece weighs 11lbs. A superb example.
Date: Â Mid-19th century
Size:  12″ wide  x  12 3/4″ tall  x  1 1/2″ deep.
Condition: Light toning with a few unimportant scratches and minor flakes.
