Excellent and unusual folk art dragon or serpent cane. Detailed carved beastie with a bone eye (other is missing). Alternating horn sections with bone dividers. Weighted core gives the cane a nice heavy feel – weighs in at one pound. Good honest use and base wear. Likely Chinese. Recently discovered near Austin, TX. A great looking primitive piece.
Date: Late 19th century.

Condition: Typical light pitting to horn and bone. Missing one eye.
