Nice looking solid brass eagle finial, probably for a flag pole. Good detailed casting with a mellow old patina. Stands perfectly. Sweet little patriotic piece of Americana.
Date: 2nd half of the 19th century.

Condition: Slight greening on wings. Otherwise great.
