Large oil on cnavas of a large sailing ship at sea. Unsigned, but nicely rendered.  Great original ornate gilt molded frame. Good detailed nautical scene. Heavy piece weighs 15lbs before packing. Don’t let this one sail away.

 

Date:   Last quarter of the 19th century.

Size:  Painting measures 32″ x 20″. Frame measures 39 1/2″ x 28″ x 2 1/4″ deep.

Condition: Overall very nice. Slight craqueleure to surface. Minor loss at top right just inside frame edge. Frame is great with typical light age cracking.
