Great full bodied cast iron figural doorstop. Referred to as “Pirate Girl” in John and Nancy Smith’s, The Doorstop Book (2006, p. 215), with a value of $500-$700. Original multi colored painted surface includes skull and crossed bones on hat. Heavy piece weighs 7lbs. A fairly rare doorstop.

 

Date: 1910s – 1920s

Size:   13  1/2″ tall  x  7″ wide  x  3″ dep.

Condition:  Typical paint loss and light rust. Paint crazing.
