Amazing graphics on this early 20th century painted metal two-sided advertising sign. Same colorful design on both sides. Small flanged lip for mounting. Selz Shoes was based in Elgin, Illinois. The factory closed it’s doors in 1929 due to the Depression. This awesome sign is a fun and cool memento from a factory that once produced 2,000 pairs of women’s shoes daily during its heyday in the 1920’s.

 

Date: 1910-29.
