Fantastic colorful standing painted advertising sign from a gas station. Sign marked, “A.M. SIGN CO. LYNCHBURG, VA.” Steel frame has a patent date from 1936. Identical graphic signs on both sides. A great piece of Americana. Don’t drive off without this one!

Date: 1930s

Size:  Sign measures about 27″ x 20″. Frame measures 33 1/2″ x 20 1/2″ x 24 1/4″ deep.

Condition:  Typical light scratches, rust and aging. The frame stands fine, but one side is loose (see photo), and this causes the leg support to be on a slight angle.
