Cool turned walnut child’s top with wrought iron pin. A fantastic centuries-old country piece. Outstanding untouched surface. Bears evidence of many years of use. Toys of this age rarely survive. A nice big example.

 

Date: Late 18th century.

 

Size: 4 1/8″ tall. 2 1/2″ greatest diameter.

 

Condition: Minor gouges. Old worm holes (nothing active). Rust to iron. Pin is slightly off-center.
