Unique hand hammered sheet brass lady in the moon panel. The entire piece seems to have been fashioned with a few simple tools. The face and hair are created by using the edge of a clad coin as a punch. The ground was made with a square flat punch and a spike punch. The piece is a tour de force brilliantly crafted with hundreds of punch taps. There is a single hole on the top flanged side piece. Likely, the piece was secured to a wooden back, from which it was hung. A wonderful primitive Art Nouveau piece of metal folk art. Recently discovered in NW Arkansas.
