Awesome primitive country yarn winder. Mortised construction. Wrought iron hardware. Fantastic original red, white and blue painted surfaces. Amazing wear on main spindle, which was used long after original wood handle disappeared. Wonderful sculptural quality to this folk art masterpiece.
