Outstanding detailed occupational shaving mug for a tailor named, G. Salvetti. Excellent colorful hand painted scene showing a tailor fitting a customer. Nice gilt design. Mug blank marked on base, “J & C/ Bavaria,” though the mug is an American piece. A fine example.
Date: Late 19th century.
