Unusual cast iron “GRIFFIN SELF SHINE FOOT REST.” Mounted on it’s original beveled edge walnut base. Retains most of it’s original silver paint. A polishing cloth would be wrapped around the extending flanking bars, and the user could then shine his or her own shoes. An interesting and still functional piece.
Date: 1920’s.
Size: Block is 11″  x  5 3/4″.
Condition: Expected use wear and minor rust.
