Outstanding primitive turned oak pricket candlestick. Hammered iron spike. Several older spliced shim repairs on this 18th, possibly 17th century relic. Probably English. Fantastic wear and aging to this rare early example of country lighting.

Date: 1660 – 1720

Size: 14 1/2″ tall to tip of spike. About 4 1/2″ base diameter.

Condition: Some roughness and expected aging with minor losses. See photos.
