Original oil painting on board. Signed by Toledo, Ohio artist, Eleanor Roberts (1905-1998). Portrait of her mentor, Karl Kappes (1861-1943), a well known Ohio artist.

Dated in pencil on reverse, “4-1-38.” Original gold painted frame. Acquired from the daughter of the artist. A nice rendition of Karl Kappes, painted several years before his death.
