Nice pair of walnut and brass carpentry tools. Both are stamped by the maker, “A. YOUNG.” The depth gauge is stamped three times. The blade on the coffin shaped small plane is marked, “STANLEY/ NEW BRITAIN,/ CONN./ U.S.A.” Wonderful old untouched surfaces of this nice pair. Matching pieces of this vintage are rarely found.

Date: Late 19th century.
