Nicely rendered small oil on board. Colorful sailboat at sea. Signed in lower right, “KS.” Original gold painted plaster over pine frame. Interesting advertising label of back reads, “R.W.DYER/ INCORPORATED/ WHOLESALE PAINTS, OI(LS,)/ GLASS and WALL PAPER/ Office and Retail Department – South Side of Square/ Warerooms 35-37 Grand Avenue/ PARIS  TEXAS.” Likely, this is where the painting was sold. It was probably produced locally.

Fun country primitive nautical theme painting, and a nice little piece of art. Don’t let this ship sail away.
