Great looking small sized memory jug. Memory jugs (or crocks) were typically created as momentos using a variety of objects either found or associated with a particular person. This little example appears to have been made during the Depression, based on the markings on the bottom of the stoneware jug used as the core. Decorated with a fantastic array of objects. By their nature, these pieces are quite fragile, and typically are missing a number of decorations. This one is offered in outstanding condition with no losses.
