Fantastic sculpted folk art stoneware gorilla head.  Realistic texturing and colorful glaze. Unusual to say the least.  Massive piece weighs over 10lbs!

Date: Mid-20th century

Size:   12″  x  9″  x  9″ tall.

Condition:   Few old surface flakes. There was some expected cracking when fired in the kiln. A section was reglued in place when the piece was first constructed. This area is hard to see on the surface, but can be detected on the interior. This area is stable and secure.
